We believe that every human being deserves lasting access to safe water and sanitation — spending more time learning, growing, working, and thriving, instead of walking for water and fighting off illness.

Founded by Dr. Nathan W. Levin and Linda L. Donald, Easy Water for Everyone (EWfE) is a nonprofit organization on a mission to provide clean, safe drinking water to rural communities through simple, sustainable technology that requires no electricity and validated by research.

Our Story Nathan and Linda, both experts in dialysis—a process used to treat kidney failure—were working on a project that led them to discover a groundbreaking innovation. They encountered a method to sterilize used kidney dialysis filters (hemodialyzer)  and repurpose them in a system capable of purifying even the most contaminated water sources.

After witnessing the severe impact of water contamination on health, education, and economic opportunities during their visits to rural villages, Nathan and Linda envisioned a smaller, more portable version of this technology that could deliver pure drinking water to communities without electricity.

Our Water Purification System. Through collaboration and innovation, this vision became a reality. The result was a water purification system that requires no electricity and can provide a reliable source of clean, safe water for entire villages.

Expanding Our Impact Easy Water for Everyone is now operational in over 50 communities across Ghana, Uganda, and Senegal, with plans to expand to 10 more sites by end of 2025. We are also making this life-saving technology available to other organizations looking to address water contamination in their own projects.
